Uitgeschreven ruimte, literature and visual art in the public domain

Poets and artists collaborated for the exhibition Uitgeschreven ruimte (Written-Out Space) in Tilburg. The exhibition is organized by bkkc and runs until the 27th of January 2013.

For each of the projects exhibits, a poet and visual artist were invited to produce a work based on the public space between Tilburg train station and the building home to bkkc. The works are currently being exhibited in this ‘spoor’ zone (in Dutch, the word ‘spoor’ has multiple meanings and can be used to describe (train) tracks, footprints, traces or clues). The projects results are surprising and diverse, generating – amongst much else – a fountain and a site-specific radio play.
