Poetry by Ghayath Almadhoun in The Guardian

Ghayath Almadhoun © Cato LeinThe Guardian published two poems by Ghayath Almadhoun. They focussed on his poetry in their Translation Tuesday section in solidarity with the refugees and citizens of the seven Muslim countries banned from entering the United States. As in his citybooks about Ypres and Antwerp, Almadhoun evokes the senseless horrors of war in his powerful poetry.
