The citybook about Graz by Onno Kosters is a series of poems titled Gravity and Counterweight. A part of the citybook, the poem ‘Alte Galerie, Schloss Eggenberg’, was selected for the multilingual EUNIC-poetry project Transpoesie. The poem is, along with the French translation, posted for travellers to read in the Brussels metro station Kruidtuin as well as in 250 metro carriages.

As well as Kosters, another 23 poets from just as many European countries took part in the project. You can bump into their poems in the Brussels metro until November 24th, each presented in the original language and in French and Dutch. Transpoesie was launched with a festive preview of the exhibition in the Kruidtuin metro station, and with an evening programme at Passa Porta including a number of the participating poets, amongst them Onno Kosters. They read from their own work and engaged in discussion chaired by Johan de Boose.
