Notes from the Underground (9)
citybooks | Lublin © Maciej Rukasz
While we're in the midst of finishing up our last chores of the year, the citybooks team and employees of deBuren would like to wish all of you, our partners, friends, and fans, wonderful holidays and a very happy and creative new year. Like this enigmatic picture of Lublin by Maciej Rukasz, we hope you'll start the new year with just a touch of magic.
We'd also like to remind you that of course our website will remain open 24/7 during the holiday period and we recommend you download some of our free audiobooks, webtexts or e-books to fill up those quiet, comfortable evenings on the couch (or train, plane, or wherever you are going or are at). One of our personal 'wintery' favorites is Stefan Hertmans Knifemaker of Tbilisi, available as a podcast, e-book, and webtext. For now, we'd like to leave you with this little clip of Nikola Madzirov (citybooks Skopje) who visited us in our Brussels office last week and told us a bit about himself and his fascination with the city.
Happy holidays and see you in 2012!
- Dorian, Willem, Xander, Sarah, Marianne, Carine, Ann, Miet, Ronald, Jenny, Debbie, and Anna Denise
