New online in August & September... to listen to
In far-away Tbilisi, Lasha Bugadze recorded his citybook about Turnhout. You can hear his tale about Gigi and Maka in Georgian, English and Dutch.
What’s more, the citybooks from Semarang are now all available in four languages. While the Dutch and Indonesian podcasts were already available, recordings of the English and French translations have now joined them online, too. Listen to stories by Gustaaf Peek, Bouke Billiet, Candra Dewi Puspitasari, Tubagus P. Svarajati and Triyanto Triwikromo, in each of which Semarang’s past plays a unique role. ‘Would you ever like to take a holiday in the past? To the time when this city knew only quiet streets in which to stroll and to trade and to woo the princess of the Mataram Palace, which is also deserted?’ (Triyanto Triwikromo on Semarang)
