Golden days, dark pages | citybooks authors in Almere

citybooks is hitting the road! Together with local organisations, deBuren organises a series of literary evenings at which citybooks authors will appear as guests. After the first evening in Eindhoven and the second one in Amersfoort, the third evening will take place on Sunday 17th of March in Almere.

Gustaaf PeekOn the occasion of the Book week theme ‘Gouden tijden, zwarte bladzijden' (Golden days, dark pages) deBuren organises a literary programme in Almere, The Netherlands. Joost Zwagerman (citybooks Sheffield) and Bart Chabot will be reading from their own work and we will also be the first to hear two special texts: the citybooks by Gustaaf Peek (photo) and Bouke Billiet who in 2012 travelled to Semarang (Indonesia) and who will be sharing their experiences with the audience for the first time.
