Rentia Bartlett-Möhl (South Africa, 1985) studied BA Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria, Afrikaans and Dutch at the University of Stellenbosch, comparative literature at the University of Utrecht and is currently busy with her Masters thesis at the University of Stellenbosch. In 2010 she was text editor of the art and cultural journal Pomp. In 2011 she wrote the concept version of the SASNEV lesson package ‘Eenders en Anders’ (Similar but different) – a lesson package on Dutch literature for Afrikaans school students. In 2012 she did an internship at deBuren in Brussels where she was responsible for the translation of 12 Radio Books and citybooks from Dutch to Afrikaans. Rentia is currently coordinator of citybooks Stellenbosch and also the editor of Litnet New Writing.

 

 

Rentia Bartlett-Möhl (1985, Suid-Afrika) het grootgeword in Pretoria, Potchefstroom en Johannesburg. Sy studeer BA Beeldende Kunste by die Universiteit van Pretoria, Afrikaans en Nederlands by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch, vergelykende letterkunde by die Universiteit van Utrecht en is tans besig met haar MA tesis by die Universiteit van Stellenbosch. In 2010 was sy teksredakteur by die kuns- en kultuurjoernaal Pomp, in 2011 samesteller van die konsep weergawe van die SASNEV lespakket ‘Eenders en Anders’ – ‘n lespakket oor die Nederlandse letterkunde vir Afrikaanse skoolleerders. In 2012 doen sy ‘n internskap by deBuren in Brussel waartydens sy verantwoordelik was vir die vertaling en koördinering van die opname van 12 luisterverhale van Nederlands na Afrikaans. Rentia is tans koördineerder van citybooks Stellenbosch en ook die nuwe redakteur by Litnet se Nuwe skryfwerk.
